I love how sitting down to a meal brings family and friends together. At some point after getting married I discovered my enjoyment in planning, shopping, prepping and cooking meals. As our family grew I quickly learned how to do larger quantities. We ate at home around the table, all 8 of us most nights. I worked really hard to make that happen between everyone’s activities because it is where we could all be together. Years ago in the midst of raising 6 kids and well before the concept of ready prepped meals (like Blue Apron or Hello Fresh) I had an idea of starting a business to do this for other families. At that time I was not in the place to be able to start a business. Years went by, kids got older and started to move out and I was working different jobs but nothing that I was passionate about. I would hear stories from other moms about not having the time to make dinner and sit down because of how busy their lives were they were getting fast food, frozen pizza and chicken nuggets. I was sad for them because we loved that time so much. In 2018 we had one just one child at home I began to wonder what I could do to occupy my time that had purpose. God gently nudged me and said now is the time. I tried to push back and say but there are all of these other services now that people can use. Through the encouragement of others I decided to put myself out there on Facebook to see who would use my service. I had a few interests but there was one family that was all in and I was ok with starting small. Over the next few weeks and months more families were added and before I knew it it was time to quit my part time job and jump all in to All the Ingredients.

In 2019 we did our first catering event and things grew quickly from there. We were blown away by the amount of growth and support that we saw through the 2020 Covid year and came out of that bigger and better. I love what I do but more importantly I love that it allows others to have a great meal and to use their time for what God had equipped them to do.
